Fuck me dead mate, I feel super young despite my gimpness but I nearly had a heartache seeing the grey! Then I started to see my mortality or as I now look at it as a badge of honour. I’m owed a few grey hairs due to the shock of the crash and besides colour my hair and I look young as still! That’s what I keeping telling myself!

Anyways my acceptance was even more confirmed when I met my spunky 21 year old female friend. She said it looked cool so I will just continue to be Me and not to hide Me!

Never, under any circumstance Hide You! Express your good points and always work on your bad ones.

My definition of Death or Glory is simply this. I’d like to live my life how I want to live my life! Free from petty bullshit. Or if I’m not taking the proper steps in that direction well that equals Death. Not feeling Free and Alive!

Anyways, people keep pushing thru what ever you have to push thru but make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. Another random thought…

I’m here at Coffee Bean typing this random thought. Mate, do you remember a specific smell to an incident. I do, like certain smells of Bondi Beach on a weekend. Like certain crisp to the air when you’re smitten.

It’s nice to sit back and wonder what problems or let me word it better, Joys in customers lives. Wow, imagine? For example I don’t know their problems and they have no idea of my struggles. We tend to get caught up our own arses at times. 

Appreciate being ALIVE we’re all survivers in one way or another!!

When it feels like one or multiple people don’t understand me. This is the exact pose I would have but my mother taught me right! So I’ll do it here.

I crashed my motorcycle 28^th of August 2006. It happened in Miami where I was living at the time. I suffered a six week coma, a metal plate in my right arm, nerve damage in my right arm, a piece of skull in my forehead taken out, a collapsed lung, and a Traumatic Brain Injury!

I had to re-learn how to walk, my math skills (shit, I admit I wasn’t the greatest on that subject) but my sense of humour, politeness, and pretty much my speech etc. intact. I lost my memory about my entire sex life, yes a few I’d like to forget but I have to admit there were some crackers. Also some intimate conversations etc etc. Not bad aye, that’s what I thought until this tsunami started to gain momentum.

Follow my journey from starting to get to know me, what I like, what I don’t like, who I like, who I don’t like, who I love, who I don’t like. My likes, my thoughts.

I have always been a chameleon but now I have to change physically, mentally and more so spiritually. My whole image has to change, so this is my way of showing you of what it’s like to deal with a TBI and maybe you’ll think twice when you encounter one of us.

I think in images and sounds now due to the injury so I will relay my messages through different mediums.

One second you were just a walking dead man due to a painful separation and the next, you’re the bloody toast of the town! Because I speak well and look good aside from a dent and a few scars.

Frustrating, well if you’d like me to be the uncensored Aussie then faarken bullshit! Faarken C$%ts, maggots….ah I feel better now. Mate no one understands and I’m not going to lie, I think it’s hampered some of my recovery.

Anyways, stuff it mate! I am a new man and stuff it you’ll deal on my level because I now admit that because of my TBI I can’t deal on your level.

I walked away from a crash that should have done one of two things. The first, it could have taken my life or two, I should have been a drooling TBI in a wheelchair with me Mum wiping me chin! I didn’t live thru all I’ve been through to beat myself up and berate myself repeatedly because I can’t operate in your able bodied world again. I want to be happy and content not stressed. So if I have to walk my own path to get what I want then I’ll be walking with a whistle. I owe this to my Celtic blood.
